Web Portfolio

This page contains links to some of the websites that I have worked on.

Click to see this site. Mermaid Schoolwear
Mermaid Schoolwear is an Australian run family business specialising in schoolwear and sportswear.

This site features samples of the company's range of clothing, which are presented as an "online gallery". Items can be quickly and easily added to the gallery, due to the automatic generation of the web page files using a custom-written Microsoft Excel program.

Ladara
Ladara are MYOB and LEAP Accounting Certified Consultants based in Sydney's North, servicing small to medium sized businesses across the Sydney metropolitan area.

This website is a brief outline of Ladara's products and services, presented in a clear and concise layout. I am particularly proud of how this site handles printouts of pages from the site, with navigation buttons being hidden from printed content to make it fit properly onto the page in an attractive manner.

Click to see this site. Moving Mannequins
Moving Mannequins are a Sydney Mannequin shop, who specialise in Mannequin sales, hire and refurbishment.

This site is a simple "online brochure", containing information about the company and a gallery featuring some of their products.

Prudentia Pty. Limited
Prudentia use this website as an "online brochure" to advertise their Risk Management consulting services to prospective clients.

During the design of this site, I assisted marketing staff from Prudentia in deciding on how to "package" their marketing and promotional material into a concise, yet informative, web-friendly format.

This website is not available on the Internet. Ryobi Technologies Australia Pty Limited
The Ryobi "Power Equipment Service Manual" is a comprehensive repair guide to the entire Ryobi power equipment range. It features a complete list of spare parts (including prices) that are used in each of their products, along with "exploded view" diagrams that detail how the parts are assembled together. An easy to use search engine (which was written in Java) assists users of the site to locate models and/or parts.

The site is presently only available within Ryobi's internal corporate network, and is not accessible from the Internet. Copies of the site are also distributed on CD-ROM to hundreds of repair shops throughout Australia, where the all features of the manual can be accessed "offline".

Tobin Electrical Components
This site is an "online catalogue" that features information on some 9000 items in the company's product range. Users of the page are able to navigate to the desired products using either a menu system, or by using the site's search facility to locate a given item number.

The website is maintained using a Microsoft Access database. Non-technical staff are able to easily enter and maintain product information for the site using forms in the Microsoft Access program. The program then automatically builds the website HTML files.
